I respect the privacy of every person who visits my website and who registers with or subscribes to my coaching and consultancy services.
This privacy notice explains my approach to any personal information that you might supply to me (or that might be collected from you) in connection with your use of my services. This notice also explains your rights in respect of my processing of your personal information.
2. Who is gathering your information?
Angie Hicks is collecting personal data about you and is the Data Controller responsible for your personal information. Angie’s principal activity is providing coaching services and consultancy advice to school leaders.

My primary goal in collecting personal information from you is to allow me to provide services that are likely to meet your needs. When you request information about or subscribe to my coaching or consultancy services, I may collect the following information from you:

Skype contact details
School name and location
Job Title
Further personal information that you choose to divulge, relevant to our coaching conversations
Your comments (if you choose to provide them) on the quality of my services
4. How do I collect personal information?
I collect personal information voluntarily provided by you when registering interest in or using my services.
When you visit and use my website www.angiehicks.education you may provide me with, or I may collect, your personal information in a number of ways:

I collect and maintain personal information that you voluntarily submit to me during your use of the website e.g. by using the Contact form
Information I collect through your use of my website
As you use my website, personal information may also be passively collected by me through the use of cookies to obtain information that is recorded by Squarespace Analytics. This information allows me to monitor the use of my website, and thereby develop and deliver more useful information, services and tools.
5. How do I use your personal information?
I collect and use your personal information to enable me to operate an efficient and high quality service. In particular your personal information may be used for the purposes of:
(i) Service administration and compliance
I may use your personal information to:
provide services that you have requested;
develop and improve my services;
send administrative emails; and
contact you to answer any queries you may have.
It is in my legitimate interest to use your personal information in such a way to ensure that I provide the best service I can to you.
(ii) User Data Analysis
I may use your personal information on an anonymised basis to analyse user data and user interactions with my website, coaching and/or consultancy services.
It is in my legitimate interest to evaluate personal information to ensure I am aware of market trends and ensure that the content on my website and the services I provide are relevant to you.
(iii) Internal Record Keeping
I may use your personal information for internal record keeping purposes.
It is in my legitimate interest to ensure that I keep my records up to date in order to deliver an effective service, to monitor and evaluate the use of my services, and to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations.
(iv) Marketing
Unless you tell me you do not want to receive them, I may use your personal information to contact you by email, telephone and/or post for sending information or promotional material about my services.
It is in my legitimate interest to market my business. You can choose not to be contacted in this way, when you register with me, and at any time afterwards.
(v) Sharing information with other third parties
I will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless I have your explicit permission or am required by law to do so.
6. Confidentiality and Security
I am committed to ensuring that your information is secure and will take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from loss, misuse or alteration.
I have implemented information security policies and technical measures to protect the personal information that I have under my control from:

unlawful destruction or accidental loss
With respect to my coaching services, strict levels of confidentiality will be maintained, as described in the Global Code of Ethics. Confidentiality will only be breached in circumstances where:
Coach and client have agreed that information will be shared with specific individuals
There is the possibility of physical harm to the client or others
Release of information is required by law
Reference may be made to the coaching partnership within the context of my coaching supervision and professional development, but this will always be anonymously and for professional purposes only.
7. How long do I retain your information?
I keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was it was collected.
8. Controlling your personal information
You have a number of rights in relation to the personal information I hold about you. The following list explains your rights as an individual under the EU General Data Protection Regulation:
You have the right to be informed of what I do with your data and to know the purpose of collecting and processing it.
You have the right to access your personal data and supplementary information so that you aware of, and can verify, the lawfulness of the processing. You can obtain the following information:
a) confirmation that your data is being processed and
b) access to your personal data
I will provide this information within one month of the request and free of charge.
You have the right to request me to rectify your personal data if is inaccurate or incomplete.
You have the right to request the deletion or removal of your personal data where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing.
You have the right to restrict the data processing.
You have the right to move, copy or transfer personal data easily from one IT environment to another in a safe and secure way, without hindrance to usability. This is commonly known as ‘data portability’. If requested, I will provide this in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable form, free of charge, and will deliver it to you in one month following the request.
